Hi, Ahoj

" I'm happy to have you here! I'm Honza, and I am the sole author behind PiPBOT and various other 3D printable designs. Let me tell you, this thing is my best 3D creation yet. It's the most intricate thing I've ever envisioned, and I'm grateful that 3D printing has made it a reality. Thank you for joining me on this exciting journey of bringing PiPBOT and other creations to life. "

Stay tuned, as there's much more yet to be revealed!

// MEET GOLIATH //

Introducing the latest version, "GOLIATH," (latest update 2.1) a formidable platform that serves as the foundation for various robot builds. GOLIATH is fully compatible with standard servo motor MG 995  or similar in size, making it accessible and easy for enthusiasts to bring their robot creations to life.

// WHAT IS PiPBOT //

PiPBOT stands for Print-in-Place roBOT. It serves as the foundation for various builds, offering an easy assembly, low production cost, and endless fun. The main platform is currently available as STL and STEP files. Additionally, for more customization options, a second version is provided, divided into separate parts so you can choose and play with your preferred colors. Let your imagination run wild with PiPBOT !

// PRINT-IN-PLACE //

The print-in-place technique is a fascinating 3D printing method that allows for the creation of objects in a fully assembled state, eliminating the need for any additional assembly steps after printing. In this process, all the intricate moving parts, hinges, gears, and other components are carefully designed to be printed in their final functional positions. This innovative approach saves considerable time and effort, as the object is ready for use straight out of the 3D printer.

* Print-in-Place is optional !

// CUSTOMIZATION //

PiPBOT is your ultimate customizable robot buddy! You have the freedom to customize colors and materials, making it uniquely yours! It's a platform for building robots that's super easy to use for everyone. You can personalize it to tackle any task you throw its way.

// MODDING //

What sets PiPBOT apart is its adaptability through different attachments, allowing users to customize the model for a wide range of tasks and applications. Whether you're a tech geek or a total newbie, PiPBOT is here to make your robotic dreams a reality!

At this stage, there are already a few attachments available. I'm currently working on dozens of different model variants for common sensors, controllers, batteries, cameras, etc. So, you can expect a wide range of options to choose from in the near future!

UPDATE AUGUST 2023

PiPBOT 2.1 //

After Beta 2.0 I have made some improvements. The core platform is well tested and works great. Takes less time to build customizable version. Main version of the model is printable as one print but there is always an option to print different parts separately in different colors and materials.

MODDING //

First set of basic attachments is available for rough builds.

There is a set of boxes mainly for batteries but it will fit other components as well. Each "MOD" has special universal clip so you can place it on different places on the main platform.

TUTORIALS //

I have made few assembly videos that can be used as a guide for your own builds. No screws or soldering!

Radio control is just the basic level 1, but it's so much fun to overcome those initial obstacles.

The true purpose of this mechanical platform is to evolve and have the ability to alter its shape based on tasks or needs. A modular system of various attachments is in development, so you'll soon be able to attach a wide range of sensors, controllers, and additional servos to your build. PiPBOT will of course support common mini computers and controllers. Dedicated MODs are already in the making for Arduino, Micro:bit, ESP32, Raspberry.
